Tito moved in New Zealand in 2004 with his family.
After 20 years of experience with his family hospitality business in Vieste - Gargano Peninsula -Italy  he took the challenge of discovering New Zealand and sharing with NewZelanders his passion for italian food and good wine. 
He managed  the iconic GINA'S Pizza and pasta bar for 4 years.
He won the  Lewhisham Awards (2006) as creator of Gina's best ambience and style,and also he was a finalist as best waiter in Auckland category (2009).
Pane & Vino boasts it is the first rustic italian restaurant in Auckland.
We use daily fresh ingredients we can get at cheap price in order to deliver to the table genuine italian food a convenient price.
Mainly the regional dishes are from Puglia with basic ingredients of garlic parsley and extra virgin olives oil.
Tito have learnt the passion for food from his Mum is still cooking for family hotel  business in Italy
Hospitality and great food is Tito' s passion and from 2009 he is has brought this to the Aucklanders with PANE & VINO (which means bread and wine ) where you will feel that you are in Italy.
Our restaurant  is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance.

Pane e Vino are actively involved with local schools Newton Central, Freemans Bay, Ponsonby, Grey Lynn and Richmond with their lunch boxes for kids of Penne Bolognese and vegetarian penne with tomato sauce, pizza like the Italian tradition.
A genuine Italian food delivered to the kids of Primary schools with Fiat Bambina.

 
Brighten Foundation - Pane & Vino is main sponsor of a charity foundation that organize campus for refuge children in Philippine, India, Thailand, Myanmar and Laos.
Our Founder Giuseppe Martegani is aiming every year to raise money with Pane e Vino popularity through funraiser dinners and events.
Youth camps are held from November to January.
